Here’s What BLACKPINK’s Jennie Wishes She Could Tell Her Past Trainee Self
With the release of BLACKPINK‘s Netflix documentary right around the corner, the members held a press conference where they talked about their long journey to stardom.
BLACKPINK has overcome all sorts of hurdles on their way to success, and Jennie explained how the members kept each other motivated.
While racing toward our goals, we were able to keep each other motivated so that none of us would feel dispirited.
— Jennie
She acknowledged
Although we all have different styles and emotions, I think we manage them, adjust, and communicate very well.
— Jennie
In particular, Jennie was asked what she would tell her past trainee self if she had the opportunity.
And her answer was beyond sincere.
I want to tell my past self when I was a trainee that I should enjoy those moments.
— Jennie
She even elaborated on why.
At the time, I didn’t realize it because I was so focused on doing well at my end-of-month evaluations. But thanks to those times, we’re doing well now, and that’s how BLACKPINK is here today.
— Jennie
So if Jennie had the opportunity, she would comfort her past self that everything is going to be okay.
I want to tell my past self that as long as I work hard, I’ll become a member of BLACKPINK.
— Jennie
BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky, which tells the story of how BLACKPINK raced toward success after their 2016 debut, is set to be released on Netflix tomorrow.
