BLACKPINK’s Jennie Drops A Possible Hint About New Music
Could new BLACKPINK music be on the way? BLINKs are hoping that the answer is finally “yes”!
On April 5, the one year anniversary of BLACKPINK’s last comeback, BLINK trended the hashtags #BLACKPINK1YearOfHiatus and #YGWhereIsBLACKPINK, demanding answers from YG Entertainment.

BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated March comeback was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but BLINKs have pointed out that other YG Entertainment artists have continued to release new music. iKON dropped their 2020 comeback album I Decide, and WINNER‘s upcoming album, Remember, will be released on April 10.
On April 6, the day after #BLACKPINK1YearOfHiatus trended, Jennie posted two new photos on her Instagram. The selfies, captioned “Studio life”, were snapped in a recording studio.
Many BLINKs are hoping that this post is Jennie’s way of hinting at new BLACKPINK bops.
“We will comeback so let’s all be a bit stronger 🙂 If I see signs, then I’ll give hints. We will not rush but go slowly like our debut and prepare each and every song slowly like how we got here today and if you wait following our pace we’ll comeback.”
