BLACKPINK’s Jennie Stuns In A Skin-Exposing, “Not Chanel” Look At The 2024 MET Gala
BLACKPINK‘s Jennie, without a doubt, is one of the most influential K-Pop idols in the fashion world.
This influence has led the star to be invited to the MET Gala for the second year in a row, this time as a VIP guest. For the 2023 MET Gala, Jennie wore an archival Chanel dress, giving it her own custom spin.
At this year’s event, fans were left in awe when Jennie was spotted in a gorgeous blue look that featured a cutaway and long train. Jennie also wore a belly chain that accentuated her waist!

The blue dress is a custom from alaïa, made out of a single yarn of Merino wool, a fabric that has been under development for a year.
Jennie’s dress also falls into one of the possible interpretations of the theme “Garden of Time,” drawing from the “sea” section of the exhibition.
Many idol fans have often complained about Jennie’s Chanel looks not being daring or outstanding enough for the star and were thrilled about this unexpected look.
