BLACKPINK's Jisoo As An Actress Is FINALLY Coming With Her Casting In New Drama By "SKY Castle" Producers

The moment BLINK have been waiting for for years is finally coming, as Jisoo has been cast in a new drama created by the SKY Castle producers.

According to an exclusive report from Mydaily, Jisoo will be joining the lineup for an upcoming drama tentatively titled Snowdrop as a lead role. The drama is currently discussing its broadcast plans with JTBC.

Snowdrop is a work that is being created by writer Yoo Hyun Mi and PD Cho Hyun Tak, both of whom helped produce last year’s hit drama SKY Castle.

YG Entertainment has now confirmed Jisoo will be making her official drama debut.

This will mark Jisoo’s first ever acting role, and be her acting debut. Before this, she appeared as a cameo in KBS’s The Producers and in tvN’s Arthdal Chronicles, but she has never held a lead role before.

Currently, Jisoo is preparing to make her comeback with BLACKPINK on October 2 with the group’s first full album, and the group also just released a second teaser image for their collaboration with Selena Gomez.
