BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Excites BLINKs With A Special Collaboration For First Solo Album “ME” KiT Album
BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo is set to showcase a special collaboration for her first solo album in six years and eight months, “ME.”
She will release a KiT album on the 31st that features a collaboration with artist Kim Kyung Jin, the owner of Samul-ui Jwapyo, a graphic design studio.
Kim Kyung Jin is an artist known for their typography-based art toys and unique works, and people are anticipating their collaboration with Jisoo’s album.
A KiT album is a music album that plays on smart devices like a digital streaming service but also allows fans to collect physical albums. There are photos and videos of the artist, a fandom community, and a music video studio inside KiT albums.
In Jisoo’s KiT album, a special square card that can only be found in the kit album will be given as a gift to those who purchase it on a first-come, first-served basis.
Jisoo’s first solo album will be released in three formats: a CD, a kit album, and a limited edition LP. Jisoo is said to have put a lot of effort into the album, even participating in the CD design herself.
BLINKs are looking forward to her music as well as the special collaboration kit album—and their excitement caused the album to surpass 950,000 pre-orders in just two weeks.
