BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Thought She Wasn’t Popular At School — Until Her Classmates’ Actions Changed Her Mind
BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo admits that she didn’t think she was popular when she was until one moment changed that.
Since debuting, Jisoo has always gained attention for her visuals and unreal presence when she’s performing on stage.
Not only is her talent unreal, but Jisoo makes models glad that she chose the idol life.
Yet, it seems like Jisoo’s popularity wasn’t always the case and it wasn’t until much later that the idol felt the admiration from those around her.
On January 5, Jisoo appeared alongside actress Hyeri on her new YouTube series called “Hyeri’s Club.”
As expected, the chemistry between the two was instantly shown as they showcased their friendship. In particular, for many, it just seemed like they were watching two normal friends just chatting about normal things.
During the video, Jisoo was asked a question, “Since when were you beautiful.”
Jisoo humbly explained that she didn’t recognize that she was pretty and that she only heard she was popular when she was in high school.
The idol shockingly revealed that in middle school, she wasn’t that popular. Although Hyeri liked to point out that maybe it was because Jisoo didn’t realize it, the BLACKPINK singer joked that she had hair that looked like triangle kimbap.
Of course, considering how beautiful and charismatic Jisoo is, it’s not surprising that it didn’t last long. When Jisoo was in high school, the idol added that she thought she was “popular…”
Because there would be drinks and bread on her desk, along with letters from her classmates.
Of course, Jisoo was probably always popular, but for many fans, it wasn’t surprising that the idol received gifts. Many believe she probably didn’t realize that she was always popular.
