BLACKPINK’s Lisa Wins “Best K-Pop” At 2022 VMAs
BLACKPINK is continuing to make history! This time, Lisa is doing so with her solo music.
Earlier, the group stunned everyone with their visuals on the red carpet for MTV‘s 2022 VMAs (also known as the 2022 Video Music Awards).

Ahead of the ceremony, the group made history by winning “Best Metaverse Performance.” The group won for BLACKPINK The Virtual PUBG. They were nominated along with BTS | Minecraft – BIGHIT Music / Geffen Records, Charli XCX | Roblox – Atlantic Records, Justin Bieber – An Interactive Virtual Experience | Wave – Def Jam, Rift Tour ft. Ariana Grande | Fortnite – Republic Records, and Twenty One Pilots Concert Experience | Roblox – Fueled By Ramen / Elektra Music Group.
Now, Lisa has won “Best K-Pop” with her solo “LALISA,” which was nominated alongside SEVENTEEN‘s “HOT,” BTS‘s “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” ITZY‘s “LOCO,” Stray Kids‘ “MANIAC,” and TWICE‘s “The Feels.”

Additionally, BLACKPINK is nominated for “Best Group/Group of the Year” and killed it on stage with their performance.
