Justice Demanded For BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Following BVLGARI News & Missing Playlist
BLACKPINK fans are calling for change, following BVLGARI‘s news about its global brand ambassador, Lisa.
Lisa is currently in Paris for Paris Fashion Week, but according to BVLGARI CEO Jean-Christophe Babin, YG Entertainment is not allowing her to attend events in the city, due to COVID-19 concerns.
As a result, Lisa is missing out on work that would benefit her career, including a photoshoot with American actress-singer Zendaya and American supermodel Lily Aldridge.
BLACKPINK’s fandom, BLINK, is now trending “JUSTICE FOR LISA,” “#YGLetLisaDoHerWork,” and related hashtags to call attention to the situation. Many fans feel that it was unfair of YG Entertainment to allow Lisa to travel to Paris but bar her from events that other stars are attending, as permitted by the current COVID-19 restrictions.
YG Entertainment clearly and unfairly restricting Lisa for events and activities. This is not how you should treat your star artist and develop her blossoming career to the fullest. @ygent_official

Lisa could have been there at Paris Fashion Week as Bvlgari Global Brand Ambassador if it was not because COVID restriction by @ygent_official only applied to her

Not a blink, but I really respect Lisa as an artist. This is unfair! You're being unfair YG. Give Lisa what she deserves! She prepared a lot, and even travelled to Paris for this. What the heck is wrong with you!?

In addition to this, fans have noticed that Lisa’s playlist is no longer on YG Entertainment’s Spotify. Some are now wondering if the change could be connected to the Paris situation.
