BLACKPINK Lisa’s “The White Lotus” Co-Star Exposes The Idol’s Behind-The-Scenes Behavior
BLACKPINK‘s Lisa will soon make her acting debut in the third series of The White Lotus, playing the character Mook. Images and teasers from HBO have raised anticipation for Lisa’s role.
The show’s official premiere date is February 16, and the cast has already begun promoting it in advance. Premiere events have been held in America and Thailand, with Lisa attracting attention during each event.
Interviews with the cast have also begun being shared online, including one featuring English actress Aimee Lou Wood. Wood plays the girlfriend of Walton Goggins‘s character in the upcoming season.
Wood was recently interviewed by NME, where she talked about her experiences while filming among other topics.
At one point, the interviewer asks if Wood was a BLACKPINK fan before the shooting, to which she says no. She states that “she is now,” explaining that she is does not keep up with modern pop culture as a reason.
She then said that she’s “still not a BLACKPINK stan,” but that she is a Lisa stan, saying that she was cool and down-to-earth among other compliments.
I’m still not a BLACKPINK stan, but I am a Lisa stan because she’s so cool, and she’s so down-to-earth. And she’s so—like you would never, ever think that she had this stratospheric level of fame. Like, she’s SO down-to-earth.
