Fans Can Become BLACKPINK As Part Of Their Upcoming Collaboration With PUBG
Fans that have dreamt of a BLACKPINK video game are now one step closer to that reality.
Alongside BLACKPINK’s current activities to celebrate their upcoming 5th anniversary, the girls have now partnered with PUBG (also known as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) for a unique in-game event.
PUBG is a gritty, online shooter game in which players are thrown into a battle royale (or large scale fight involving up to one hundred players) until one player is left standing.
This collaboration means PUBG will be adding multiple limited-time BLACKPINK decorations in-game. This will include everything from building decals:
To airplane tails:
To the supply crates dropped:
Most excitingly, players will be able to purchase cosmetic items based on the members of BLACKPINK. While they weren’t able to technically include the girls’ facial likenesses, every other detail is on point meaning you can become BLACKPINK in game.
Some members are rocking iconic “Lovesick Girls” looks including Lisa in her stunning plaid moment:
Jisoo in her black and white:
And Rosé in her punk rock fantasy:
Jennie‘s changes it up with her silver look from “Ddu-du Ddu-du”:
Players will also be able to purchase “emotes” in this set that will replicate iconic BLACKPINK dances “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du”, “How You Like That”, and “Lovesick Girls”.
The event will last in game from August 8 – September 7 from PC players and August 12 – September 15 for console players.
