BLACKPINK Rosé's Advice To Jennie Before Her "2023 Met Gala" Debut

In 2021, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé and CL made history as the first female K-Pop idols to attend the Met Gala.

A year after Rosé was named the global brand ambassador for Saint Laurent, the BLACKPINK member attended the 2021 Met Gala in a custom Saint Laurent mini dress, accompanied by the luxury brand’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello.

While it’s rumored she will again attend this year and was spotted at JFK airport in New York with fellow member Jennie on April 28, she has yet to make an appearance on the 2023 Met Gala carpet.

As BLINKs eagerly await news on Rosé, they’re celebrating Jennie’s arrival on the Met Gala carpet, as she made her debut at “fashion’s biggest night’s out.”

As Chanel‘s long-time house ambassador, appointed by the late German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld himself, Jennie stunned in a vintage Chanel dress from the 1990 Fall/Winter collection.

As she made her way across the Met Gala carpet, she stopped to chat with American internet personality Emma Chamberlain, who is acting as Vogue’s live stream correspondent.

Chamberlain praised Jennie’s stunning outfit, asking her about the “effortless, gorgeous, and simple” look, and the BLACKPINK member was happy to spill on how the outfit came to be.

While chatting about attending the event for the first time, Jennie shared that Rosé gave her some advice before her Met Gala carpet debut.
