BLACKPINK Rosé’s Comment About Her Solo Songs Sparks Anger Towards YG Entertainment
BLACKPINK Rosé‘s recent comments about her solo tracks have netizens angry at YG Entertainment.
On October 18, Rosé released her new song “APT.” with Bruno Mars.
During a recent interview with Z100, the idol was asked, “Have you thought about what you want to do on stage?” In response, Rosé shared her thoughts and worries as she explained, “To be honest, cause I haven’t had 12 songs in my life before, only had two right, I had to kind of live it out a little bit.”
The idol then shared that she has been experimenting with sessions and how, when it’s the right time, she can’t wait to perform her songs to fans.
But then a few weeks back, I did like an acoustic session to start the vibes and I sang all the songs acoustic, and I was like, ‘I am obsessed.’ It got me so excited to perform it and I was like, ‘Make it bulkier,’ I’m really excited to perform it now. At the right time, though, it has to feel right.

Netizens shared their anger towards YG Entertainment as they believed the company didn’t allow Rosé to shine as a soloist and how happy they are that she can finally showcase her talent.

Seeing them this yr doing their things and successful at that, I really don't understand why yge/teddy hold them back. You can tell that they can do it to themselves. Why can't they just give them that freedom, just like what they did with their male artists. @ygent_official https://t.co/PR6Ltq58Hf
