In the weeks leading up to Rosie’s release, Rosé shared bits and pieces of herself that she poured into her music. This includes an ex, who contributed to the heartbreak she expresses in some of Rosie‘s songs, like “Toxic Till The End.”

On December 5, Rosé posted a new teaser photo for “Toxic Till The End,” which will be released on December 6. It features Evan Mock, an American model, actor, and skateboarder best known for starring in the HBO Max series Gossip Girl. Evan Mock will appear in the “Toxic Till The End” music video.

Bruno Mars’s father has Puerto Rican and Jewish heritage, while his late mother has Filipino and some Spanish heritage. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Evan Mock was also born in Hawaii (Waimea Bay). According to a profile by the South China Morning Post, his mother is Filipino, and his father is American.
Some netizens who noticed the similarities between Bruno Mars’s and Evan Mock’s backgrounds joked about Rosé having a “type.” Who knows? Maybe Filipino Americans really are her “lucky charms“!
