BLACKPINK’s Rosé Opens Up About Dealing With Anxiety
BLACKPINK‘s Rosé has opened up about tackling anxiety.
While promoting her upcoming album rosie, Rosé has been praised for her honesty in interviews on a range of topics, including toxic relationships.
The idol recently appeared on the comedy podcast Therapuss with Jake Shane.
During the interview, Rosé mentioned anxiety she had and at one point, the host pointed out that the idol was playing with a squishy ball during the interview, and they both showed them.
Rosé pointed out that it’s like a “rider,” and whenever she’s in a meeting or something, it’s always on the table because she “can’t work without it.”
The idol went on to say, “Um, I just get anxiety. Like I don’t know if it’s ADHD, I don’t even know what it is, I need this, and once I have it in my hands, I can focus.”
When asked how long she’s had anxiety, Rosé explained that it only seemed to be noticeable recently and how it got worse over the past few years.
Rosé even pointed out that people who worked with her in the past and then came back noticed a change.
It can be hard to explain anxiety to others, but Rosé added that with the help of the stress ball, she can now articulate it better. She acknowledged that while some people take “smoke breaks,” she needs five minutes for a “squishy break.”
Netizens love that Rosé is being honest, and many will relate to her feelings of anxiety.
