Fact Check: Did BLACKPINK’s Rosé Attend Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” Film Premiere?
On October 11 (local time), a post on social media started to gain attention as someone “revealed” that BLACKPINK‘s Rosé attended the premiere of Taylor Swift‘s latest movie.
But is it actually true?
On October 4, Rosé was spotted at Incheon Airport on her way to New York for an overseas schedule. While the idol looked beautiful (and basically made the airport a runway), netizens were confused about where she was going.
After speculation, a user on Twitter gained attention after sharing photos claiming that the idol had attended the premiere of Taylor Swift’s movie for her Eras tour. In particular, considering the logo, many didn’t realize it was a fan account, as it mimicked the profile picture of the big account “Pop Base.”

It wouldn’t be too unexpected as recently, the idol was spotted at Taylor Swift’s studio. Although she confirmed it wasn’t a listening party but just a party, it shows that the two artists must be close.
BLACKPINK’s Rosé Personally Addresses “Listening Party” Rumors With Taylor Swift
When the tweet was shared, netizens quickly put rumors to rest after revealing that the photos actually weren’t from the Taylor Swift premiere. In particular, they pointed out that from the idol’s outfit and also those around her, the video was actually from the Adele concert she attended in August.
In the OG video, Rosé was seen wearing the same outfit as the photos shared, with an elegant black one-piece and her blonde hair in a plait.
The second image was then of the security guards showing Rosé to her seat amidst the huge crowds.
After realizing that the video was old, netizens took to the post to ensure that other netizens knew it wasn’t real, with some even explaining that they almost fell for it until they noticed the similarities.

While the photos seemed legit, and it wasn’t surprising that the tweet was gaining attention, BLINKs want to make sure other netizens don’t believe it, whether it was done seriously or as a joke.
