BLACKPINK Serves Vintage Beauty In “2022 Welcoming Collection” Photos
BLACKPINK is bringing the past into the present with their 2022 Welcoming Collection! For this year’s merch package, each member modeled vintage outfits inspired by old trends.
Let’s start with Jisoo, who is currently taking Paris Fashion Week by storm. She wore a black babydoll dress accessorized with white stockings, chunky heels, and an ’80s half-up ‘do.
This look is the perfect blend of classic cuteness and bratty sass.
Speaking of brats, Regina George is no longer the queen bee in Mean Girls. That role now belongs to Jisoo, thanks to this look inspired by early 2000s fashion and Gen Z’s Y2K revival.
Our favorite Jisoo look might be this goddess gown by Dior. It was inspired by ancient Greek aesthetics. (Did Jisoo wear it better than the model? You decide!)
Like Jisoo, Rosé slayed a variety of looks inspired by past fashion trends. Here, she models a polkadot mini dress cinched with a belt.
We’re not sure which accessory we love more, her red platform heels, heart-shaped belt buckle, or this pearly barrette!
Rosé also wore a black dress for this solo shoot, but the mood is completely different. Here, Rosé is a sultry muse with few accessories to distract from her gorgeous visuals.
On the completely opposite end of the spectrum, here’s Rosé’s next look. This combination of pigtails, cropped polo tee, and pleated skirt screams, “girl next door.”
What kind of looks did Jennie serve? Basically, all of them. Jennie went from modern-day princess…
…to midnight starlet…
…to the prettiest pink lady in the picket-fence suburbs.
We especially love her photos with Jisoo!
For this look, Lisa combined a variety of contrasting patterns and textures. She wore a buttoned, boxy blazer with a fitted houndstooth skirt, lace socks, and strappy, white heels.
Can you picture these two as co-CEOs of their own fashion company? We can!
Like Rosé, Lisa tried her take on the “girl next door” look, but with an “old money” twist. Just imagine this wealthy heiress making her entrance at a country club or walking the halls of an Ivy League school.
For this outfit, Lisa paired a slinky, sequined dress with her signature straight bob and used white roses as her props. Pure beauty!
