BLACKPINK’s “IN YOUR AREA WORLD TOUR” Concludes…And It Shatters Multiple Records
BLACKPINK have recently concluded their world tour called “IN YOUR AREA” on February 22, at Fukuoka Dome.
With the conclusion of the tour, BLACKPINK has also broken a lot of K-Pop records with the numbers from their tour. A Twitter account by the name of BLACKPINK STATSΒ shares data on just how successful the tour was. BLACKPINK sold 472,183 tickets and grossed approximately $56,756,285 from 36 shows. This makes their tour the highest attended, as well as highest-grossing ever by a K-Pop girl group.

BLACKPINK STATS also shares that their concert in The Forum, Inglewood, was the highest-grossing single concert ever by a female group in North America.
