Over the last few weeks, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé has given numerous interviews to promote the release of her album rosie.

In addition to this, the idol even shared a preview of one of the album’s songs well in advance, sharing her favorite lyrics. These lyrics showed the emotional nature of the album and seemingly revealed a detail about her ex that many were not expecting — that they were a thief!

Her lyrics mention them “not giving me back my Tiffany rings.”

I can forgive you for a lot of things, for not giving me back my Tiffany rings, but I’ll never forgive you for one thing my dear, you wasted my prettiest years.

These lyrics were revealed to be from “Toxic till the end,” which depicts a romantic relationship.

Now, Rosé has given an update about her missing rings!

On December 6, clips of Rosé from her interview with Hits Radio UK were shared on the station’s X account. The idol spoke about the inspiration behind the album, along with some other entertaining facts about herself.

In one clip, the Tiffany rings are brought up by Rosé as she talks about the specific lyrics. Rosé then reveals that her ex did not actually steal her rings, and that the line was made up as a metaphor.

I noticed that a lot of people that the Tiffany rings— there’s like a line about Tiffany rings. He didn’t actual steal my Tiffany rings, we just made that one up so like, I’m like ‘calm down!’ Everyone’s like WHO STOLE HER TIFFANY RINGS?
