Blockberry Creative Enrages Netizens With “Nonsensical” New Statement Regarding Chuu
LOONA‘s agency Blockberry Creative released a follow-up statement explaining its original statement announcing former member Chuu‘s removal from the group and alleging the idol had abused the label’s staff.
In the statement, which was released on November 28, the label claims they never meant to slander Chuu with their original statement.
The (statement) was to explain why Chuu had left the group, not to expose her for her abuse (of staff).

For context, on November 25, the agency released a statement in which they claimed they had removed Chuu from LOONA due to the idol’s verbal abuse. Fans, however, were skeptical of this, and many believed the label was trying to slander the idol’s reputation maliciously. Many fans demanded the agency provide proof of their assertion the idol had abused her staff.

Hello. This is Blockberry Creative.
We would like to add to the statement, in which we stated why Chuu was removed from LOONA, that we released on November 25.
The statement was to reveal the current situation to fans who have long supported LOONA. It was not to expose Chuu’s abuse to the media and public.
After our statement, there have been many comments stating that we should ‘Provide evidence‘ and that ‘Chuu wouldn’t do that,‘ and that ‘The agency is attacking her‘ and so we are releasing this statement to correct a few points.
The (statement) that was released on November 25 was to explain why Chuu had left the group, not to expose her for her abuse (of staff).
Although we are obligated to reveal the reason for (Chuu’s) expulsion, the right to reveal the evidence rests with Chuu and the abused staff member.
If (Chuu) would like correct what was stated, then it is something that the parties involved should prove. We will provide evidence of the verbal abuse only if Chuu and the abused staff member agree.
We ask that you refrain from writing malicious comments about this statement. We will provide evidence only if Chuu and the abused staff member agree.
Lastly, we again ask that you refrain from writing unsubstantiated allegations so that the LOONA members aren’t hurt by this incident and so that they can begin promoting as a team.

Many netizens expressed their anger with the company, with many stating that the agency’s latest communication proves they do not have any proof of Chuu’s alleged abuses.
