Singer BoA was recently introduced in the drama Marry My Husband as the antagonist. She plays the former fiancée of the male lead, Na Ji Hyuk.
Her appearance on the show brought about plastic surgery allegations due to her stiff face and thick lips.

BoA personally addressed the plastic surgery rumors through a live stream on February 7, 2024.
BoA was well-aware of the rumors. She explained that she had a habit of pursing her lips as below, which caused the area around her lip to spread out like that.
She reassured fans that her lips were fine, and told them not to worry! Not only that, but BoA has been using braces since 2023, leading to a stiffer mouth area and awkward expressions.
