The video, which was released on March 4, KST, revealed many unexpected facts about the director, including his Twilight loyalty toward “Team Edward.”

The interviewer then asked Bong if he had any favorite K-pop group. The director, without missing a beat, answered, “BLACKPINK.”

When he was again asked about his favorite member in the group, he started his reply with “Rosé…,” only to follow it up with, “Jisoo, Jennie, everyone!”

Though Bong seemed to be a fan of the entire group, his exclusion of Lisa‘s name in his answer has ticked off many as they saw it a deliberate omission, possibly fueled by racist intentions. However, many netizens also defended the director, arguing that at his age, it was expected of him not to remember the names of idol group members.
