BL Actor Surprises His Boyfriend With A Real-Life Marriage Proposal
One of the most popular drama genres is BL (boy love) dramas. While there are many popular ones worldwide, the BL industry in Thailand is massive, with many couples having such a big following that they can hold fan meetings.
When a particular on-screen couple develops a following, they are usually cast in other works together as partners. This has led to some on-screen couples being believed actually to be in a relationship.
One couple that has been confirmed is ”Both” Nattapong Chinsoponsap and “Newyear” Kitiwhut Sawutdimilin.
The pair began dating in 2012 and appeared as an on-screen couple in the series Top Secret Together. They have been open about their relationship, sharing content of their lives together online throughout the years.
Recently, Newyear shared content about the newest development in their relationship!
On June 26, Newyear shared a video on TikTok with the on-screen caption, “Will you marry me?” The clip shows the couple walking into a room set up with roses, with Both presenting Newyear with a bouquet before getting down on one knee.

Newyear shared photos from their engagement on X as well, sharing that his response to being asked was “I said yes from the first day we met.” This comes after a post shared by the couple in September 2023 that had a similar caption.
With Thailand recently legalizing gay marriage, we can probably expect their ceremony to take place soon!
