BOYNEXTDOOR’s Company Gets Severely Criticized For Leaving Fans Waiting In Bangkok After Earthquake

Thailand recently experienced a 7.7-magnitude earthquake on March 28, 2025, resulting in significant losses and casualties.
BOYNEXTDOOR‘s scheduled concert in Bangkok on March 29, 2025, was canceled. However, controversy arose when the ticket organizers initially posted a cancellation notice but later deleted it, leaving fans confused about whether the event was still happening. It was said that KOZ Entertainment had asked them to do so. The updated notice was only re-uploaded after the group had secured flights and were already en route to the airport. This delay sparked criticism, as many felt the organizers should have informed fans earlier, especially those who had traveled to attend the event, leaving them in an uncertain and potentially hazardous situation.
“BOYNEXTDOOR wasn’t criticized for canceling the concert, but for doing it too late. They stayed silent until they were safe—disgusting. Girls went missing or even died just for this. I despise BND and their indifferent fans.”#BOYNEXTDOOR

Some criticized the company for retracting the notice to ensure that the boys got to safety first, without the possible influx of fans rushing to get out of the country at the airport. Many foreign fans ended up stuck in Thailand without flights out immediately.
I totally get this, I think from my Weibo moots they’re angry more so cuz of how BND’s team handled the issue – deleting the 1st cancellation announcement at 3pm reuploading at 5which meant a lot of foreign fans that got there are stuck and couldn’t fly out of Thailand https://t.co/grsZiy1d0v

Fans have been insisting that the issue is not about money or the cancellation, but about the company’s lack of consideration for fans’ safety.
Stop spreading fake news. The issue was never the cancellation.
The issue is that the organizers got bnd out asap without giving the fans the same safety notice and now many are stranded, missing, or dead.
Grow the fk up n show some sympathy for the dead girls.

On the other hand, some fans seem to believe that the angry fans are mad that the concert was cancelled, and not because of the way the company handled the cancellation notification.
they cancelled the concert bc you never know when will another earthquake happens and being in a crowd like concert can harm them..why ain't they understanding this..

Others express sorry for the members for having to go through the situation and be criticized at the end of it.
imagine experiencing an earthquake for the first time in AN UNKNOWN COUNTRY and not knowing what to do, and then your "fans" blame you and point fingers at you for canceling the show, some of you mfs are really disgusting and don't deserve bnd at all. https://t.co/Xv05lTwLjh
