Fans have been attempting to keep their favorite idols informed on the ongoing crisis happening in Gaza due to several Israeli attacks in any way possible. Many have used social media platforms to comment, trend hashtags, and even organize boycotts. In a similar fashion, BOYNEXTDOOR fans chose to post this information through Weverse’s “Fan Letters” feature.

Leehan liked several different letters regarding the tragedies happening in Palestine, as well as the brand boycott related to the cause.

One of the posts he liked was a simple poster with the viral slogan “All Eyes on Rafah.” The phrase has recently gone viral online, with countless celebrities posting it on their socials after an Israeli airstrike that led to a fire at a camp for displaced Palestinians in Rafah, a city in southern Gaza.

According to Gaza’s health ministry, at least 45 people were killed, and hundreds more were wounded in the incident. The international community has widely condemned the strike, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referring to it as a “tragic mistake.”

Leehan also liked a letter from a fan informing him about brands to boycott due to their involvement in the conflict. The letter expressed hope that Leehan would read it and spread awareness.

“I’m not sure who will notice this letter, but I hope Leehan can read it just as he reads other fan letters.

This is a reminder for all of us to boycott supporting Israel financially as they bomb Palestine. If we boycott together, it will have a huge impact. If you already own products from businesses being boycotted, that’s fine. But please, do not continue purchasing from them. What is happening there is very serious. They are humans who also want to live peacefully in their own country.

I hope you will inform and spread this message to your friends. Together, we can make a change. At first, it may seem difficult, but trust me. If we persist for their independence, it will become a very happy moment to witness. I hope Leehan and other members can gain more knowledge about the current global situation. Even if you feel constrained, it’s okay. There are things we can do to help them. Just this one small action can make the world happier.

Thank you, and always be happy. I’m not Korean, but I hope you understand what I’m trying to say.”
