“Boys Planet” Viral Contestant Ricky Has His Fellow Trainees Whipped
Mnet is set to air the first episode of their newest reality show, Boys Planet.
One of the hottest contestants has to be Ricky. Since he was first introduced, Ricky has been going viral.
Along with his description of “Young and rich. Tall and handsome,” capturing the hearts of netizens worldwide…
But also his charming and confident personality in the videos shared by Mnet.
Well, it seems as if it isn’t just netizens who have fallen for Ricky’s charm, and it was on show in a preview clip from the upcoming episode of Boys Planet.
In the latest pre-release clip, the contestants were introduced to global trainees from Yuehua Entertainment, home to groups like EVERGLOW. The four trainees already had a huge amount of stars between them, showcasing that they were a serious threat.
When they came out, the four trainees instantly made a statement with their looks and presence.
It was then time for their own personal introductions, and Ricky didn’t disappoint. Like his other introductions, Ricky had netizens excited AF as he said, “I’m young and rich, tall and handsome, RICKY.”
While the mentors seemed to approve of Ricky immediately…
It seems like his confident introduction also struck a chord with the contestants, as one thought he was the “Perfect roommate.”
Another believed that the way to Ricky’s heart was food, adding, “Pass him some cookies…” He then said “friend” in Japanese until another trainee explained that he was Chinese.
Luckily, Ricky’s talent was just as good as his talk, as the four trainees wowed with their cover of NCT 127‘s “Kick It.” The performance was dynamic, full of enthusiasm, and unsurprisingly made a huge impact on those watching it live.
When the video was released, netizens couldn’t hide their shock at just how talented and charismatic Ricky was during the introduction and performance. They also loved the reactions of the judges and contestants after they saw Ricky.
