On December 4, THE BOYZ’s new agency, One Hundred, announced that efforts to secure the group’s trademark had failed due to IST Entertainment’s allegedly excessive demands. One Hundred stated that the conditions proposed by IST were unacceptable despite THE BOYZ having protected and developed their brand for the past seven years.

According to the statement, the agency and the members worked tirelessly to resolve the matter amicably, striving to retain their fans’ names. However, despite these efforts, the negotiations did not yield a positive outcome.

Even with the failed talks, One Hundred has assured fans that THE BOYZ’s activities will continue without interruption. To prepare for the potential loss of their current name, the agency has filed trademarks for alternative names, such as “The Boys,” “The New Boyz,” and “TNBZ.”

“This is One Hundred, the new agency of THE BOYZ.

During the process of conditional trademark negotiations with IST Entertainment, THE BOYZ’s current agency, One Hundred found it impossible to accept IST Entertainment’s unreasonable terms, despite the artists having protected their trademark rights for the past seven years.

One Hundred has made every effort to negotiate with IST Entertainment regarding the trademark rights. The artists of THE BOYZ also did their best until today to preserve these rights for the sake of their fans. We deeply regret that we were unable to achieve a positive outcome and express our sincere disappointment toward IST Entertainment.

One Hundred has always prioritized THE BOYZ and their fans, and we have strived for a smooth and amicable transition that would leave no harm or blemish.

Therefore, until the contract ends on December 5, One Hundred will continue to approach the trademark negotiations with an open mind. Even if the negotiations ultimately fail, we will ensure that the current members of THE BOYZ are thoroughly prepared to carry out their activities under a new and improved brand name.

Finally, One Hundred promises to always act in the best interest of the artists and fans, and we will continue to give our utmost effort in everything we do. Thank you.”
