Stream “Honey.”

THE BOYZ‘s Sunwoo just left fans stunned (or not, tbh) with his latest fansign flirting.

For those that are fans of THE BOYZ (or even just find theemselves on K-Pop TikTok), have likely seen an interaction featuring Sunwoo. Sunwoo is known for being incredibly flirty, and has left fans with their heads in their hands after seeing his antics.

Naturally, fans got used to Sunwoo’s flirty nature, leaving them partially immune to his fansign flirting. However, a recent fan account just set the counter back and has fans utterly stuck on what to do.

These days the term “daddy” is used to describe someone who has features a father might have — big, strong, supportive financially and emotionally — and someone who is attractive, becoming a catch-all phrase.

For example, in Usher‘s “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)” he uses sexual innuendo while referring to himself as his partner’s “daddy.”

Is you say, “Daddy’s home, daddy’s home for me”And I know you’ve been waiting for this love in your dayYou know your daddy’s home (daddy’s home)And it’s time to play (so it’s time to play)

— Usher in “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)”

K-Pop fans also user the term to refer to certain idols — for example, MONSTA X’s Shownu, while not an actual father, has displayed these traits and is attractive leading fans to call him that.

A fan account shared on X from a recent fansign with Sunwoo, showed that the idol was very aware of the term.

According to the fan who shared it, they asked Sunwoo a question about what they should call him when they get asked about their phone’s background. As you can see from the photo, Sunwoo wrote down the word “daddy.”

FanWhat should I tell my friends when they see the picture of Sunwoo saved as the wallpaper on my phone?
Sunwoo: Daddy

While it is not exactly clear what he meant, due to his track record, fans have assumed he meant the slang usage of the word, and have reacted accordingly.

It’s very likely fans will follow Sunwoo’s instructions for that situation and just know that we were also left stunned!
