Brave Girls Wins 1st Place On A Music Show 10 Years After Debut With Hit Song “Rollin'”
After ten long years and several member changes, Brave Girls has finally won for the first time on a music show!
Brave Girls originally made their debut in 2011, but their current lineup made their debut over five years ago. Although their hit song “Rollin'” was originally released in 2017, it resurged in popularity only recently after going viral on YouTube.
On the March 14 airing of Inkigayo, Brave Girls’s “Rollin'” went up against ATEEZ‘s “I’m The One” and SHINee‘s “Don’t Call Me.” They beat out their competition with a score of 6,270.
The moment their group name was announced as the winners, the girls covered their mouths in shock and disbelief.
With tears streaming down their faces, they thanked their fans and supporters. The girls had previously revealed that they were on the verge of disbanding, so they were understandably emotional at being crowned the winners.
Soon after, they posted a heartfelt message for fans on their official Instagram account.
Thank you so much for all of who made all this from Rollin’s reverse run to #1 on the music chart and #1 on music broadcasts💕 I will never forget the very happy today you made🥲 Please stay with us for a long time the future! I love you❤️❤️❤️
