On December 14, the 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAAs) took place in the Philippines, celebrating a year of music and entertainment.

Many K-Pop idols and Asian celebrities attended the show, with many first stunning on the red carpet.

While fans are always happy for their faves to win awards, the AAAs faced criticism for various reasons, including poor streaming quality and being “too long and boring.”

Of course, the stars in attendance made the show all the more entertaining, especially with their off-screen moments like Stray Kids‘ Seungmin and Han having to run for 3RACHA‘s award…

…and the many IZ*ONE crumbs between Kwon Eunbi and LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura and Chaewon.

SEVENTEEN‘s BSS also attended the show and created some viral moments for the various ways they found to stay entertained throughout the night.

For one, when Lee Youngji was announced for her award, the three idols congratulated her by following her around the tables as she accepted.

Throughout the night, BSS were seen playing with the plentiful confetti. During their interview, it could be seen that not only had Seungkwan spelled out 부석순 (BooSeokSoon), but had included tablemates AKMU in their tomfoolery.

During Youngji’s award speech, Hoshi also used confetti to create fake tears.

BSS also made the show more entertaining for the idols as well.

During their performance of “7 PM,” BSS did a skit that included Kim Sejeong, Lee Dong Hwi, and Japanese actor and model Kentaro Sakaguchi — all of whom were unaware they would be participating til it happened.

And, of course, had everyone on their feet as they performed “Just Do It” and “Fighting.”

SEVENTEEN’s BSS were definitely a highlight of the awards show!
