BTOB Fans Enraged Over Use Of Original Name For Promoting Members
BTOB is currently promoting with only four members. While Yook Sungjae and Im Changsub are still part of the group, they are signed with different agencies, whereas the other four are with BTOB Company. This division in agencies has caused some challenges and differences in their promotions. At present, the remaining four members are actively working as idols.
A recent advertisement for recruiting Japan fanclub members featured only four of the members, which upset many fans. In response, fans have asked that the group use a unit name when promoting with fewer members. On February 14, 2025, the company announced that they will continue promoting under their original group name.
