K-Pop Idol Unexpectedly Shares He Almost Debuted As DAY6
In the most recent episode of Mimiminu’s YouTube series, idol group BTOB appeared to promote their new album.
On the show, they discussed how they came together to debut as a group. In particular, Minhyuk revealed the story about his first day as a trainee.

On my first day as a trainee, Eunkwang, Changseob, and Hyunsik took me out to a pub and expressed their dilemmas about wanting to debut with fewer members as if I were their counselor. We then played rock-paper-scissors to see who would pay. I ended up losing, so I paid. We then went to a convenience store and did rock paper scissors and I lost again so I had to pay.

For Peniel, while explaining his story of joining the company, he ended up revealing unexpected information about other artists too!

Minyhuk: He was actually preparing to be in DAY6.
Peniel: The group wasn’t even called DAY6 back then.
Mimiminu: Before Young K.
Peniel: Younghyun? Young K. Ah, right Brian. Brian was preparing to be a part of GOT7 back then.”
Hearing this, Mimiminu had no idea where this was going, as the trainee storyline was never-ending. The members laughed knowing that they were able to talk about things like this now that time had passed.
