BTS To Announce “2022 GRAMMYs” Nominations
Yesterday, BTS‘s RM dropped a spoiler during the group’s live broadcast following the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs) regarding the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
J-Hope had wondered aloud if they could hope for a GRAMMY next after their 2021 AMAs wins as they picked up Favorite Pop Duo or Group, Favorite Pop Song, and the most anticipated Artist of the Year award. Rather than just agree with J-Hope, RM said, “Our video came out anyway…”
Now, we know he was likely talking about the upcoming 2022 GRAMMYs Awards Show Nominations Livestream Event.
The Recording Academy announced earlier all of the superstars that will assist CEO Harvey Mason jr. and Board of Trustees Chair Tammy Hurt in the reveal of the nominees for the GRAMMYs.
BTS is included in the list of talent that will announce the nominations later today along with musician Jon Batiste, four-time GRAMMY Award winner H.E.R., comedian Nate Bargatze, rock band Måneskin, CBS Mornings anchor Gayle King, singer-songwriter Carly Pearce, music artist Tayla Parx, and more.
