BTS Fans Help Raise Over 2 Million Rupees For Coronavirus Relief In India
With the pandemic still ongoing, India’s coronavirus crisis is particularly growing. After being alerted to it, BTS ARMYs quickly decided to help by raising funds for the cause. They have since raised over 2 million rupees ($29,000 USD) in coronavirus relief funds.
A Twitter account, @BangtanIndia, took the lead in fundraising efforts, setting up a crowdfunding account on Milaap. The funds will mostly be used to help people secure medical supplies, essentials, food, oxygen and fight against the new strain of the virus. At last check, it has over 2469 supporters.

This is not the first time ARMYs have done both BTS and the fanclub proud. Previously, they have also raised funds for various causes including for Thirst Relief and refugees.
