BTS To Perform “Permission To Dance,” “I’ll Be Missing You,” And More On BBC One
Mark your calendars, ARMY; BTS is coming to BBC One!
On July 28, BTS will appear in a 30-minute special called BTS @ Radio 1. The program, hosted by Adele Roberts, will begin airing at 10:35 PM (BST). It will feature an exclusive interview, plus three must-see performances.
BTS will perform their GRAMMY-nominated hit “Dynamite,” as well as their new chart-topping single “Permission to Dance.” They will also perform cover of “I’ll Be Missing You” by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans for the first time.
“I’ll Be Missing You” was released in 1997, the same year Jungkook was born. It samples The Police‘s 1983 song “Every Breath You Take” and was written in memory of Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace, who was murdered on March 9, 1997. “I’ll Be Missing You” won a GRAMMY for “Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group” and spent eleven weeks at the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.
Want early access to the show? Tune in to BBC Radio 1 on July 27 at 12 PM (BST) to hear the performances before they’re televised!
