NBC’s New Show “Dancing With Myself” Features BTS’s “Butter”
With BTS‘s increasing popularity worldwide, it seems not unheard of but even expected to hear their music on Western broadcasts.
American commercial broadcast station NBC (The National Broadcasting Company) is especially home to many ARMYs, such as Jimmy Fallon. So, BTS’s songs and even the members themselves have appeared on the network’s shows.
Now, BTS made another appearance via one of their hit songs.
NBC recently premiered the new reality series Dancing With Myself. Hosts include The Jonas Brothers‘ Nick Jonas, internet personality, dancer, and actress Liza Koshy, Colombian singer Shakira, and American modelΒ Camille Kostek.
Celebrity creators design a series of dance challenges inspired by viral trends, teaching them to everyday people isolated in unique dance pods who compete for a chance to take home a cash prize.
In a recent episode, contestants dance battled it out to “Butter” in duos. Rather than perform the official choreography, they showed their own unique moves in individual styles.
When NBC Entertainment tweeted the video clip on social media, the social media manager proved their ARMY status by using the members’ representative emojis and purple heart emojis, tagging the group and hashtagging “#Butter” and “#OT7.”
