BTS Can’t Seem To Stop Completely Owning Billboard’s World Albums Chart With New And Old Albums
The Billboard World Albums chart is a weekly chart of the world’s best-selling albums in the United States, based on the total accumulated sales of the albums listed. Since the chart is made up of international albums, K-Pop is often a large part of the list, given how popular it has become!
In fact, this week on the chart, only 3 albums on the 15-album list aren’t K-Pop, which is really impressive. Unsurprisingly, BTS takes up a majority of the K-Pop albums listed, with a total of 7 albums ranking on the chart!
They actually accomplished this feat last week as well, and this really isn’t terribly uncommon for the incredibly successful group. Most of their albums that ranked this week hold the same position they had last week, with the exception of You Never Walk Alone, which replaced Wings on the list this week at #15, and Map of the Soul: Persona, which went from #9 last week to #6 this week.
The other K-Pop artists that ranked this week are BLACKPINK (with Kill This Love at #12), Stray Kids (With Go Live at #11 and In Life at #7), TXT (with The Dream Chapter: Eternity at #8), and NCT 127 (with Neo Zone at #4). Check out the entire list for yourself below!
