BTS’s V Congratulates Director Bong Joon Ho On His Award At The Oscars
It was a historic moment for the Korean film industry as director Bong Joon Ho took home four trophies at the 2020 Oscars. The movie Parasite took home a total of four awards including Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best International Film, and Best Picture.
This is special because it is the first time a foreign-language film has ever been awarded Best Picture at the Oscars.
"Parasite" made history sweeping the #Oscars as the first foreign film to win Best Picture.
The movie is centered on a fictional family who lives in a semi-basement unit. But living in an underground home is a reality for many people in South Korea. pic.twitter.com/jz3PJwrzr3
