BTS Fan Revealed To Have Started Petition Against ADOR Min Hee Jin — Korean Netizens Call Out The Fandom
It was previously reported that international netizens had begun a petition for ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin to leave HYBE.
International Petition Under Fire For Demanding Min Hee Jin To Resign
In a month, they have gathered 30,721 signatures (at time of writing). The petition calls for the dismissal of Min Hee Jin, citing reasons that she has “spread misinformation and led a campaign of harassment against groups such as BTS, LE SSERAFIM, and ILLIT,” as well as “affected the morale and well-being of several members.”
The person who started the petition strongly feels that Min Hee Jin has contributed to the alleged spread of misinformation, claiming that recent matters that have been highlighted to the public are part of a smear campaign by Min. Some cited examples include BTS’s sajaegi accusations, ILLIT’s plagiarism accusations, and more.
Korean netizens noted that the petition, which is hosted by Change.org, was started by someone with the username “ARMY Forever.”
Naturally, many turned their ire to the fandom. Netizens criticized the fandom for stepping in when they were not aware of the facts. They called out ARMYs for their blind belief in the company.
