BTS Is The First Group Since The Beatles To Achieve This Billboard Record

Billboard has released their updated ‘Billboard 200’ chart which tracks the most popular albums and EPs in the United States.

Unsurprisingly, BTS‘s new album Map of the Soul: Persona is set to top the chart for the week of April 19th. This isn’t the first time BTS have accomplished this feat.

In June 2018, BTS topped the Billboard 200 with their album Love Yourself: Tear and then just three months later, they did it again with Love Yourself: Answer.

This is particularly amazing because it means that BTS has topped the Billboard 200 with three different albums in under a year. This hasn’t happened since The Beatles released Anthology 1, Anthology 2, Anthology 3 in 1996 and saw all three top the Billboard 200.
