Recently, BTS‘s J-Hope came online to surprise ARMY!

He posted a thoughtful message for fans in celebration of the new year where he reflected on 2023 and looked ahead to 2024.

ARMY,💜 You’re doing well, right?? 💜🫡
2023 is coming to an end. Still, I think it was a special and thankful year in many ways, so I came here to briefly say hello. This year, I think I did a variety of activities and movements with a clear focus on the military. I wanted to show you what I hadn’t been able to before, so I went to awards ceremonies alone~, attended big (fashion) shows in Paris~, made a collab song with someone I respected to give you a big gift before enlisting in the military~ and prepared content to let you feel a little bit of my warmth while I’m serving in the military~ After living such a busy and intense life, I enlisted in the military. 😂😂

It’s already been 9 months since I became a soldier and already!!? I am getting ready to welcome the YEAR OF DISCHARGE (even if it’s October, which is close to the end of the year 😥😂🫡)

All I can feel is that I want to show you my best side again as soon as possible, and I miss you so much! I miss our members, but also worry about them, and at the same time, I feel a sense of being on the same page with them, and gain strength from it! Since I experienced it first, i can tell you…! I’m sure everyone feels the same way!!…

Before going to bed, I think a lot and encounter various dreams. Things that felt very natural and trivial became the ideal and help me relieve my fatigue and the stiffness of my breath, even if only for a moment. My bed tonight as the year changes will be like that again, right? hhh. The day I faithfully complete my national defense duties makes the beginning of the year 2024 even more powerful!! Anyway, I survived 2023 and moved forward thanks to all of you. (Once again, I wanted to express myself…😅😂)
