BTS J-Hope’s “Jack In The Box” Outfit Sells For 5 Times The Bidding Price
A couple of weeks ago, we reported on the ongoing auction for BTS member J-Hope‘s jumpsuit and bunny ear beanie from his “MORE” music video and Jack in the Box photoshoot.
The auction was held by MusiCares, an organization that helps provide “critical health and welfare services to the music community.”
The pre-auction price that was originally suggested was between $4,000 USD and $6,000 USD, but in late January with over a week left of the auction, the highest bidding price was already at $12,500 USD.
The auction officially ended on February 6, and according to MusiCares, it ended up selling for around five times the original pre-auction price.
The final bidder was able to purchase the outfit for $21,875 USD, a steep price that will undoubtedly benefit a lot of people in need thanks to the charity that it’s being given to.
This isn’t the first time that BTS’s members have donated their belongings to charities like MusiCares in order to help others in their community, and we doubt it will be the last!
