BTS J-Hope’s “MORE” Outfit Charity Auction Surpasses Expectations
BTS is known not only for their talent but also their big hearts and humble personalities. Throughout their career, they’ve used their global platform to promote positive messages, knowing the large impact they have on millions of people around the world.
In 2020, the group’s microphones used during their Love Yourself tour sold at the MusiCares auction for a staggering $83,200 USD. They were estimated to sell between $10,000 USD and $20,000 USD before the auction began.
MusiCares is an organization that helps provide “critical health and welfare services to the music community.”
Their pastel-colored “Dynamite” music video outfits were also auctioned for MusiCares, bringing in $162,500 USD.
BTS also raised over $3.6 million USD over four years for their Love Myself campaign with UNICEF. The campaign aims to spread awareness about and raise funds for preventing violence against children and teens.
BTS’s actions, through their music and philanthropic efforts, have brought joy to ARMYs and helped positively impact society.
Most recently, BTS J-Hope‘s jumpsuit and bunny ear from his “MORE” music video and Jack in the Box album photoshoot was listed for auction with MusiCares.
Much like BTS’s microphones, J-Hope’s outfit has dramatically exceeded the original pre-auction of $4,000 USD to $6,000 USD. Currently, the highest bid is $12,500 USD, with a little over a week remaining until the auction ends.
The group and ARMYs have proven to be a powerful force for good, and their charitable actions have inspired many others to give back to their communities.
