Recently, BTS‘s J-Hope appeared as the first guest on MBC FM4U’s “Close Friends with Lee Hyun.”
While reading messages that were submitted in for J-Hope, one came up from someone he personally knew.
I am the successor who served in the military with Sergeant Jung Hoseok.
His military colleague took over his first generation, or group of trainees.
The difficult position can be exhausting.
Everything was unfamiliar and difficult at that time. One day, Sergeant Jung Hoseok was on a full-night duty, and I was on a part-time night duty. My part was around 2 A.M., it was very hard.
[Sergeant Jung Hoseok] said, ‘It’s really hard, right your first generation must be a hard one. You did a great job today so hurry up and go in and sleep a little more.’
J-Hope’s encouraging words left a lasting impression on him.
Meanwhile, J-Hope was completely shocked that his military colleague had sent in a message!
He remembered the story vividly and shared how he looked tired so he decided to take over the position and allow him to rest.
Meanwhile, it was not easy work for himself!
However, he did what was right.
