BTS’s J-Hope Is A True Professional After Minor Mishap Behind The Scenes Of “Dick Clark’s New Years’ Rockin’ Eve”
BTS‘s J-Hope recently performed at “Dick Clark’s New Years’ Rockin’ Eve” to welcome in the new year and celebrate with fans in Times Square. The iconic stage included songs like “=(Equal Sign),” “Chicken Noodle Soup,” and “Butter: Holiday Remix.”
Soon after getting off stage, J-Hope told some behind-the-scenes stories from the show that fans might never have known! Revealing that his in-ears were only playing the music and not his own vocals, it was hard to hear himself singing.
The only about today was that my voice wasn’t coming through my in-ears, so I think I sang with too much energy. So that was a bit of a bummer.
— J-Hope
Because of this, he felt his pitch was off and that he sang with too much energy. However, it was clear that he did his best to deal with the unforeseen circumstances!
Even the weather was different than he anticipated, making the stage slippery during rehearsals.
During today’s rehearsal… It was slippery! It rained. When I arrived, the weather was so nice! So I thought, “Wow! The weather will be so nice on the day I perform.” I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately, it rained.

There were various parts of his performance that he wasn’t personally satisfied with. However, ARMY know this is because J-Hope holds himself to the highest standard of perfection!
Due to his professionalism, he quickly adapted to the unexpected changes and put on an amazing show where viewers might never have known what actually happened behind the scenes.
J-Hope decided to look past the imperfections and embrace the exciting holiday he spent with ARMY.
But it’s in the past now. Rather than saying this and that about it, it’s the new year and I’m spending it with you, so I want to end with fun, joy, and smiles.

J-Hope’s work ethic and desire to always do better show exactly why he’s so successful today!
