BTS’s J-Hope Proves His Passion For Music With His Impressive Involvement In Filming For “MORE”
ARMY are still recovering from BTS J-Hope‘s incredible solo debut track “MORE,” which shows all of the idol’s rockstar potential in the edgy music video.
Although it’s no surprise that J-Hope is incredibly passionate about his music, always giving his all to every performance and video, J-Hope truly demonstrated his professionalism in a behind-the-scenes video of the “MORE” music video shooting.
Not only is J-Hope a perfectionist, redoing shots until he feels pleased with the result…
But he continually gives his own creative input for the different shots. For instance, in the hospital scene, J-Hope suggests that he should wear his hat, establishing a more ominous vibe than they had before.
How about I wear the helmet here? Would that be too much?
-J-Hope
Which even the director admits “was a great idea.”
J-Hope also further contributes to the story in his music video by suggesting that when he’s wearing a similar hat, he shouldn’t be lipsyncing and instead should just stare down the camera.
Should I not lip sync when I’m wearing this hat?
Not singing along and just standing here might make a better scene.
-J-Hope
And once again, the director responds positively to J-Hope’s input, agreeing with him.
“MORE” definitely left such an impact on ARMY because of the investment and passion J-Hope showed in creating the track.
As I said earlier, from coming up with the concept to how we should film each MV scene, there were a lot of elements here that I worked on with a great director.
