BTS’s Jimin Made A Cameo In The Latest Track By Stephen Colbert And Jon Batiste, But Not In The Way You Would Expect
When it comes to celebrities falling in love with BTS, the numbers seem endless, and a day doesn’t seem to go by without another person proclaiming themselves as a film ARMY! One of those people is American host Stephen Colbert.
The group has appeared several times on his show The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, and whether having a chat, playing some games, or performing, always seem to have a great time.
Recently, Stephen Colbert and musician Jon Batiste released a new track called “Excuse Song” and premiered it during their show. As expected, it was a catchy song that definitely had relatable AF lyrics!
However, more eagle-eyed viewers noticed something during the video. On social media, many ARMYs tweeted that member Jimin actually appeared in the video. Initially, many people were very confused for several reasons.
One, due to COVID-19, BTS have not been able to travel to America to take part and, secondly, there has been no mention of it from the group! Yet, it wasn’t actually Jimin in the video in person. The duo found a smart way to incorporate the idol through a t-shirt!
In the song, Jon Batiste sings, “You just flew back from Korea,” and rocked a very nice shirt with Jimin’s face on it! Considering the words, it was a perfect fit. ARMYs couldn’t believe it but loved seeing Jimin make an appearance!

It isn’t the first time ARMYs have praised Colbert for his love of BTS and their appearances on his show. From their interviews and playing games, he seems to put the members at ease and have fun with them. He even burst into laughter after the members broke into a rendition of The Beatles‘ “Hey Jude.”
As always, people can’t help but fall in love with Jimin and need him everywhere they go. Hopefully, things get better, and the group can travel to America and be on the show again. In the meantime, make sure to watch the video below.
