BTS’s Jimin Was At His Happiest In 2019, And His Members Could See It
2019 was the year of BTS‘s Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour, Map of the Soul: Persona, and global domination. It was also the year when Jimin felt his happiest.
In Episode 3 of Break The Silence, BTS prepares to say farewell to Love Yourself in Fukuoka, Japan.
The tour concluded in Bangkok, Thailand in April 2019, then started up again as Love Yourself: Speak Yourself in May 2019 in Pasadena, California.
“Lately, I’ve been feeling the happiest I’ve ever felt,” Jimin said, following the Fukuoka segment.
For BTS, 2018 was one of their greatest triumphs, but also a time of uncertainty and pressure. After overcoming those struggles, the members welcomed all the joys of 2019.
Up until last year, the members were feeling a bit anxious, and we didn’t have a lot of time to rest. As we moved into the new year, things finally began to settle down.

“The members have now started to feel more secure,” Jimin explained, ” and we’ve been touring while preparing for our album. We also get to rest when we can. I think those were the best parts.”
“Even now I’m very happy. Recently, the members have been telling me, ‘You seem a lot happier, especially this year.'”
“I think it’s a good thing. I can express how I feel, yet also organize my thoughts more calmly.”
“I’m not sure how to describe this feeling. It’s something I’ve never felt before.”
Although 2020 isn’t the year anyone expected, here’s hoping it brings Jimin just as much joy as 2019 did!
