BTS Jimin And Jungkook’s “Massive Surprise” Makes International News
BTS‘s Jimin and Jungkook are bringing joy to fans around the world — and making headlines along the way!
The new Disney+ travel reality show Are You Sure?! chronicles Jimin and Jungkook’s adventures ahead of their military enlistment as they travel to the state of New York, Jeju Island, and Japan’s fifth-most populous city, Sapporo.
Jimin and Jungkook recently went viral for their respectful behavior toward a waitress. Now, they’re in the news again for another good deed, albeit an accidental one.
I always admire @BTS_twt Jimin’s thoughtfulness & kindness – he stood up and took a plate from the waitress as she carried several on her arms.

WTNH News8–a news station in New Haven, Connecticut, USA–recently featured a story about Jimin, Jungkook, the town of Old Lyme, and a kayak shop. In Are You Sure?!, Jimin and Jungkook can be seen wearing Black Hall Outfitter‘s signature Salty to the Core t-shirts.
The store owner, who gave the idols the shirts after Jungkook flipped his kayak, said he is “massively surprised” by how one small gesture has now led to big sales. “It was completely by accident,” he said. “I mean, we threw them the shirt thinking, ‘Oh yeah, they’ll love this,’ it will be cool, and then next thing you know, it was like, ‘All right, this thing just blew up!'”
In addition to the Salty to the Core t-shirts selling out, ARMY tourists are also bringing in business by making trips to Old Lyme to go kayaking and see the store where Are You Sure?! was filmed.
According to the shop owner, who designed the t-shirts, the shirts are now being posted on Instagram from around the world, including Italy. “That is so cool to see,” he said. “We love it.”
