BTS’s Jimin Pens A Long Letter To ARMY On The Band’s 10th Anniversary — Here’s The Full Translation
BTS has reached its 10th anniversary, an amazing feat for sure. While the boys are off doing their own thing for the time being, they didn’t forget to check in with ARMY on this celebratory day.
Jimin left a long letter to fans on their Weverse community. He penned down a few thoughts about hitting the big 10.
ARMY, it’s Jimin. Wow, it’s our 10th anniversary. Since when did time pass like this? I can’t believe that I’m 29 right now, when I was a mere 19 years old when I met you guys for the first time.
I’m an adult too now. Although I still feel similar to when I was 19 on the inside, but my body… Hehehe… It’s weird indeed.
Anyway!
I just miss you guys.
We used to wonder how it would be like when we reach our 10th, then 20th years. I think nothing much has changed LOL. Actually, it’s even better. How should I put it? I think I’m a little emotional because I was watching Jin Hyung on Suchwita just now but, it’s just great. Rather than feeling sad, I’m entirely happy because it feels like there’s something that everyone and I are building together, bit by bit, together.

How he feels is a little hard to put into words, but he confirmed just how happy his fans made him.
It could be a little weird for me to say this but it doesn’t feel like “Oh, it’s our first anniversary!! ASDFGDSKJLSFVOFJV!! It’s our second anniversary!! SDFJKSLDVIORJDKLV!” LOL
It’s just like, “Wow… so we’re here now.”
Wait, no, wait. This isn’t it. I knew it couldn’t be put into words. To tell you the truth, at first, it felt like the time where we were all together has stopped since last year, so I was a little depressed. But that’s not it. We’re all doing this together. Thinking about each other, in our respective places, thinking about what we can do now and continuously taking on new challenges.
So, recently, I’m entirely happy. Of course, I miss you guys more. I’m so curious as to how everyone is doing recently, and what worries you guys have. I’m sorry I can’t come find you guys often. Even so, I’m consistently thinking of you guys.
I think I say this a lot. 8 years is both a long and short time… 9 years is both…, etc. But to have the 10th year approaching feels different. It is something that no one can ignore, something solid, that is easier to share and understand. Yeah, that’s how I felt. I’m happy. So I want to work harder in order to keep this relationship.
Although I’ve told this to ARMY a few times, it’s not something just anyone can do, to be able to unconditionally give your love, support, and strength to someone. That is why we very much are aware, just how happy of people we are.
And you guys who have helped us feel this way, also have to feel overwhelming happiness and love. You guys have to. Got it?
To the ARMY whom I’m always grateful to and love, let’s be happy for a long, long time come. Hehe.

Here’s to many more years with BTS!
