Fans Want BTS Jimin’s “Promise” Available On Paid Streaming Services
BTS Jimin‘s solo song “Promise” has been getting a lot of attention ever since its release onto Soundcloud, a free song streaming platform.
Within 24 hours of release, the song racked up 8.5 million streams, setting a new record for the most streams within first 24 hours.
As of 8th of January, the song is sitting at 20.4 million streams, and that number continues to increase as fans can’t stop listening to it!
Upon release, Jimin described this song as his gift to A.R.M.Y on Twitter.
Finally, I’m revealing my song. This is a song for me but it’s also for you.
– BTS Jimin
But while fans are very thankful and very much in love with Jimin’s work, they’re not content with just listening to it on Soundcloud.

With all the press Jimin and @BTS_twt are getting because we basically accidentally broke Drake’s record, I keep going between feeling SO soft that Jimin uploaded #약속, Promise, as “FirstJiminPRESENT”🥰💜and MAD that I can’t pay for this beautiful song😡 I want to buy it!🙏 https://t.co/SoLiTTJcxi

Jimin is getting so much recognition with Promise, my man deserves to have his song on Spotify/Itunes so he can gain money with that masterpiece. I get that the song was a present, but the public LOVED it & is willing to stream and pay for it. Put Promise on Spotify. @BigHitEnt

A.R.M.Ys want to see “Promise” on paid streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
- I can’t believe I’m listening to this song for free.
- I really want to purchase this song and listen on Spotify.
- This song has given me comfort and consolation, and I want to pay back.
And some lucky K-A.R.M.Ys got to hear Jimin sing “Promise” live!
On the 5th of January, at the pre-recording of 33rd Golden Disc Awards, Jimin sang a short snippet of “Promise” for A.R.M.Ys. The fans were so excited to hear the song live, they even made “약속 라이브(Promise live)” trend on Twitter!
Hopefully, the day that Jimin sings “Promise” live for all A.R.M.Ys will come soon!
